Was the Nobel Prize committee's choice of Liu Xiaobo for the peace prize a wise one?

Was the Nobel Prize committee's choice of Liu Xiaobo for the peace prize a wise one?|||Economically speaking probably not.

European nations were warned not to affront China鈥檚 legal system.

One which is to be valued above all was enforced by a party that supports the most homicidal regimes on earth.

Those like Xiaobo, who disagree wtih government policy, protest or even risk to look up words like democarcy on the internet face jail without a fair trial.Opression became second nature

Brainwashing, propaganda, torture, organ trade, partial control of the Media...Who knows what China麓s dissident already had to endure. The man was well aware of the precarious situation he would bring himself into.He deserves international support.

If it is this very system European nations should pay deference to, the peace prize might aswell go to Hu Jintao. It would perfectly fit a retrogressive world which tolerates China麓s ego trip. It is wise to do he opposite.

The superior man is distressed by the limitations of his ability; he is not distressed by the fact that men do not recognize the ability that he has.
