Who pays for the Nobel prize?

I know that the nobel prize is worth a million dollars, so who pays that?|||The Nobel Foundation. And ultimately, the money came from Alfred Nobel, who endowed the Prizes in his will.

Nobel...was a Swedish chemist, engineer, innovator, armaments manufacturer and the inventor of dynamite. He owned Bofors, a major armaments manufacturer.... In his last will, he used his enormous fortune to institute the Nobel Prizes. [from Wikipedia]

That was founded by Alfred Nobel (believe it or not) who endowed all the prizes in his last will and testamony.

He was a Swedish engineer, manufactoror, chemist and he actually invented dynamite!

In his will he created Nobel Prizes from the massive fortune which he had made during his lifetime. In other words he dedicated his life's earnings to a cause which benefitted others rather than himself...!

Makes you think doesn't it
