When in the history of ever has winning something like the Nobel been detrimental to your image/career?|||well,lets see..one should accomplish something !|||Winning the Nobel peace prize was, indeed, the call to action that Obama accepted it as. If he fails to live up to the expectation that's on him, he will sour the name of the prize committee. He will also lose credibility. Winning the award has essentially placed him under a stronger global magnifying glass. If he missteps, it will be noticed and it may hurt him in the long run.|||When it comes to Republicans %26gt; bad is good , war is peace and the wealthy deserve welfare but the poor do not . They live in some other moral universe ; completely the reverse from what I was taught . so it is no surprise to me that they see Obama winning the Nobel Peace prize as any thing but negative .|||It didn't give Arafat anything......I doubt the sincerity of the Nobel Commitee ever since they awarded one to Arafat. Arafat was responsible for more killings in Germany than any other terrorist. Yes, Obama has now won a prize that officially recognizes his spinelessness and weakness in the face of the enemy.
Now many historians would consider that to be an undesirable distinction.
But if you are a liberal, you might have a different opinion.|||Maybe since the Nobel was given to a terrorist,Arafat,it's been seen as a joke.|||They're not saying it will hurt him, they're saying he doesn't deserve it.|||ever since Arafat won it how can you give it any creditability , My God hes a old school terrorist.
