This is the second time in recent history that I seen the Nobel Peace Prize was given to individuals for talk alone when so many other put work into the cause. If a person is in the public eye a bring up a good point or cause.OK. If that same person act on that cause with passion and from the heart, that maybe worth an award.|||To the best of my knowledge, the Nobel Peace Prize has never been given to someone just for talking about Peace. I respect Mr. Obama for saying that he did not deserve the award. I would respect him more, if he had refused to accept the award. But, it' s a great photo op for his scarp book.|||some people that know more then us think that he's doing more then anyone else for peace,this just something else for people to find fault with obama,just can not figure what is wrong with people,to much hate in this world.|||Poor Mother Teresa probably rolled over in her grave.
I always thought the Nobel was for deeds done, not deeds promised.|||It baffles the mind..........
Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela.......and Obama?|||It happened last week, unfortunately!
