Who is favored to win the 2011 Nobel Prize in Economics?

Who is most likely going to win this years Nobel Prize in Economics? Thank you!|||nobody. Is there a "failed economist" award?|||The Nobel prizes are very euro-centric. There have been many distinguished scholars from around the world but were never given recognition since the euro/American counterparts were always preferred.

Having said that scrape everyone who aint white off the list then try and make a guess, it would have a better chance of success. One of the most striking examples would be Mahatma Gandhi not getting nobel peace prize since the norwegian/swedish authorities did not want to spoil their relations with Britain. They do give other reasons to justify their action but the fact of the matter (baseline) is that it was simply due to politics.

In my opinion, the highest recognition to anyone in the field should be decided by fellow researchers/scholars rather than proposing it to a committee and letting them decide who wins what.
